The Philadelphia Regional Center for Children’s Environmental Health added climate change as a focus area in 2023. Over the past year and half, the Center has implemented several new climate change programs including:

  • Teacher and health care provider trainings, including climate change curriculum
  • Community engagement projects in Eastwick and Kensington, focused on extreme heat and flooding
  • Pilot Projects
