Please join United By Blue for a fun-filled Community Cleanup Event by volunteering to clean up your local waterway. The focus of the day will be cleaning up litter and debris from the wooded banks of the Schuylkill River in Bala Cynwyd. This could include the removal of items as large as tires and abandoned household furniture to as small as pesky microplastics and ever-abundant snack packaging; all cleaned up with the overarching goal of stopping it from leaching into or physically entering the watershed, which in this case, includes the Schuylkill River!

This waterway cleanup event is in partnership with the Philadelphia Water Department and Philadelphia Canoe Club. We have come together to make an impact in an area of interest for all!

All cleanup participants will receive a stainless steel tumbler, gifted from United By Blue.

All levels of environmental stewards are welcome!
